The More you read......

As the new librarian at Rockwood Middle School, I thought it would be a cool idea to have a school-wide reading goal. Since we have about 325 students, we decided to make the goal to read 1000 books before Christmas break. The students are reading like crazy! I am so excited to see us reach this goal together. When the students are finished reading their selections, they log them into their grade level binder. My lovely assistants count and highlight these books weekly. On last count, we were at 748!!!!!! We will definitely get there by Christmas!
